Zoot builds the front body from 80% polyester and 20% elastane at 240g/m², a denser weave chosen for compression and abrasion resistance across the chest and shoulders, while the back body and sleeves both drop to a lighter 85% polyester and 15% elastane blend at 115g/m² so heat can escape on the run. The bottom panel switches to 78% polyamide and 22% elastane at 225g/m² for a firmer, more supportive hold through the hips and thighs. Seamlink stitching ties the panels together, adding stretch and strength at the seams without the bulk of a standard flatlock, and the YKK semi-auto-lock zipper sits inside a no-sew zipper garage so the slider can't chafe skin on a long ride.
The suit uses Zoot's new ultra-plush Italian chamois, shaped for both racing and training rather than a race-only minimal pad, so it holds up on long ride days as well as sprint-distance starts. Italian leg grippers hold the hem in place without digging in, and an 8 inch inseam keeps coverage modest enough for a fast T2. The ventilated sleeve construction adds airflow and sun coverage through the shoulders without the drag of a full jersey sleeve, and UPF 50+ fabric covers the rest of the body for sun protection on exposed courses. The relaxed athletic fit through the torso leaves room to layer a wetsuit over the top for an open-water swim leg.
