Why We Love It
The Pursue 2 Speedsuit LD is Surpas's suit for the long-distance season. Built from an Italian ultra-matt Carvico fabric for durability over a full Ironman build-up, this is the suit Team Surpas wears for Norseman and other full-distance racing.
Talk Nerdy To Me
The body is built from Carvico fabric out of Italy, an ultra-matt surface chosen for how it holds up over repeated long training sessions, paired with a second fabric through the retention zones for compression and recovery benefit after the ride. Version 2 of the Pursue added longer sleeves and legs, a wider neckline and new underarm panels, along with an adjusted back length so the suit sits right when you're folded into the aero position for hours.
Padding is the same Hybrid Cell System chamois by Elastic Interface used across Surpas's range, Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified and shaped for noseless saddles, with perforated foams and a central channel to keep it drying out rather than holding water. Two back pockets carry race nutrition, 7cm silicone grippers hold the leg openings in place on the bike, and a solid-colour abrasion panel reinforces the crotch and lower back where a saddle does the most damage over a long ride.
