Why We Love It
Vapour is Zone3's best-selling all-rounder, the goggle for swimmers who move between the pool and open water without wanting a different pair for each. The photochromatic lens automatically darkens in bright light and clears up again in low light, so dawn training sessions and full-sun open water swims both stay comfortable to see through. The large curved lens gives an unusually wide field of view for a twin-lens goggle, and the easy-adjust strap holds a multi-position fit through a long session.
Talk Nerdy To Me
Zone3 rates Vapour's lens as its widest standard-fit option, a large wide-angle curved lens built for unrestricted peripheral vision rather than the tighter, low-profile shape of a dedicated racing goggle like Venator-X. The photochromatic tint responds directly to UV exposure, darkening as the sun comes out and lightening again under cloud or in shaded water, which matters more for open water swims where light conditions genuinely shift over the course of a session. UV400-rated polycarbonate blocks 100% of UVA and UVB, and an anti-fog treatment is factory-applied to the inner lens surface to hold up over repeated pool and open water use.
An ultra-soft silicone gasket sits externally around the eye socket to minimise pressure, and Triathlete magazine has called Vapour incredibly comfortable and functional across both training environments.
