The Athlex Float V2 uses Yamamoto neoprene with a targeted thickness profile to improve buoyancy and body position. The legs feature 4.5mm neoprene to lift the lower body, helping reduce drag and maintain a horizontal position in the water. This is especially beneficial for swimmers whose legs tend to sink during the swim leg of a triathlon. Highly elastic neoprene panels in the shoulders, arms and back improve mobility and stroke efficiency. The suit is finished with an Super Composite Skin (SCS) coating to reduce water resistance and improve hydrodynamics. Hydrophobic materials also assist with faster removal during transition, helping save valuable seconds between swim and bike.

Flexibility
The materials used in the shoulder, arm and back areas give this wetsuit a high level of elasticity in the upper body.
39FS
Elasticity, maximum flexibility and total freedom of movement are brought together thanks to the combination of Yamamoto 39 neoprene, Infinity Skin 2 lining and Smoothskin surface finish. With this combination, the open water swimmer will use 35% less force in fast movements and short strokes, while slower, wider movements will require 45% less force than with any other conventional wetsuit.
V FIT
Orca women's wetsuits have patterns specifically designed for the female body, which improve both their performance and comfort. A better fit allows the materials to work within their optimal elasticity ranges.
Buoyancy
Specific technologies have been applied to this wetsuit to enhance its buoyancy.
38F
The 4.5 mm thick version of Yamamoto 38 neoprene provides buoyancy so that the swimmer can feel more comfortable and confident swimming during the first segment. The compressive inner lining combined with this technology allows the suit to fit perfectly to the triathlete's body.
Hydrodynamics
Its surface treatments and perfect fit, thanks to the suit's pattern and materials, enhance the hydrodynamic properties of the Athlex Float wetsuit.
39+
Yamamoto 39 neoprene is combined with the high-elasticity Infinity Skin 2 lining and SCS surface coating. The smooth finish acheived with the SCS coating reduces resistance and friction in the water, improving hydrodynamics and increasing speed.
38+
Yamamoto 38 provides more compression for a better fit in the wetsuit and greater comfort when swimming in triathlons. SCS coating improves hydrodynamics, reducing water resistance and increasing speed.
Others
YKK10
YKK zippers are high-performance and durable features. The sturdiness of these zippers gives them a long service life and they are of such high quality that they prevent water from flowing through the wetsuit while swimming.
USC
Laser cutting in the neck area combined with the Hydrolite inner lining allows the wetsuit to seal to the body and prevents chafing. This combination and seal prevent water from flowing into the suit, providing more thermal comfort to the swimmer.
Hydrolite
Hydrolite technology makes the wetsuit easier to remove during transitions. Its compressive properties improve the wetsuits's seal in areas where water may be able to enter, such as in the arms, legs and neck, improving the wetsuit's overall thermal comfort.
