This jacket is made from 15D Nylon66, a fabric that's tough for its weight, so you get durability without bulk. It's rated above 10,000mmH₂O for waterproofing and over 13,900g/(m²·24h) for breathability, meaning it keeps heavy rain out while still letting sweat vapour escape. Fully taped 7D seams stop water sneaking through the stitching.
The cut is technical rather than boxy, so your arms and shoulders move freely, and ventilation zippers plus an adjustable hood let you control airflow as conditions change. Dual quick-release zippers give easy access to your hydration bladder, and the back panel is shaped to sit comfortably under a 5 to 15L running pack. It also meets mandatory kit requirements for trail races, including UTMB, so it's race-day ready.
